La Roo's House of Pancakes

I'm an old ex-hippy that missed his era. I love the life that has been given me and all the individuals in my life espcially my dog Ruth. Music to me is the heartbeat of my father above in heaven. Every woman on planet earth are my muse. This is me just all haning out for you to get to know. I have been needing a face lift on my site now for years and here we go... Come on and see my site to boot. http://laroo.us

Location: Tallahassee, Florida, United States

There isn't much to say when it comes to me, if you don't know me you won't if you do know me you probably wish you didn't... I try my best to be my best and in that I don't steal, cheat, or kill... I would say I don't lie but then that would be one of those lies. I tell lies to make people feel better and somethings to make me feel better.

Moving 101, Off to the Virgin Islands

I'm on my way to the Islands of the Caribian to my new home in St. Croix. Three weeks to Four I didn't have a clue this would happen to me so just follow your hearts brothers and sisters and look towards the father up above and your dreams of childhood will someday really come true. This dream of a child some 45 years ago is realized in the heart of a 51 year old kid.

Hot damn, when A friend told me to come on down to St. Croix one of the Virgin Islands and live, the first thing I did was buy a plane ticket. To think of living on an island has been a dream of mine since my dad took the family to Hawaii back in 63 where I saw President Kennedy's funneral on TV.

Since I was going to live there I called a moving company to move my house over to the Island and they wanted 7000 bucks which I just wouldn't do, call me cheap... I decided I couldn't take my worldly possessions so I had a yard sale and sold everything I owned. I then packed the rest up in 8 boxes and got an agent that put all the shipping together for me at Managed Freight: you can find them online, and the guy was so cool and easy to work with. I just wouldn't have been able to do it myself. All the forms he found and filled out for me, Well I guess if you like paper work you can actually just ship it through Tropical shipping yourself.

I moved my house hold goods and then drove my car to Wesl Palm Beach and dropped it off at the Shipping place and rented a Enterprise car that cost me 90 bucks but while I was there I took a taxi back to the rental car place that cost me 50 bucks. The guy was fun but not worth the 5 minute ride. Map Quest estimated it at 6 miles away so make sure you call the cab yourself.

I drove my car to West Palm Beach and left my car there for shipping while I paid a guy 940 bucks to bring my boxes, make that another 90 bucks, three of those 8 boxes I sent via the post office. The reason I got a rental car is because my brother and sister in law live in Tampa and I wanted to say toodles to them. It will cost me about 300 bucks to come back without a car and 1700 if I want a car. Hmmmmmm I think I will wait for them to visit. Now they have an open invitation to visit because paradise is meant to be shared. :) I arrived in Tampa two nights ago and am resting and feeling ready for the flight now. I can't wait...

My ticket is for the 8th of the month so I have a few more days, Thursday, to get over the driving all the way down to West Palm and then over to Tampa. I'm having a great time over here in Tampa too because my brother invited a great freind of mine over last night and the night before the neighbors came over and we drank a wee bit. I'm having a great time so wish you all were here...

Peace Out
