Nothing but high prices
The other day I was told that the Blue Guy Group was in town and I really wanted to see them. If you don't know who they are they started off doing commercials for a computer company but now they have a real neat mime type show. I called the radio station NPR and was told that a package was $250.00 and you got 2 tickets and a CD but I then called the Civics Center where they will be playing at and the cheap tickets are 60 bucks and the good seats are 80 bucks.
Now I am disabled and on a fixed income and I own a dog that I adopted from sure death that eats up my extra cash fixing her so I won't be seeing this incredible group of blue folks.
I then heard about these Tibet Monks creating a Mandala at our Brogan Museum and all events are in the evening and it costs 20 bucks to see them build a sand painting.
I'm trying to figure out how to have a little fun but this town and the world around me costs to much. Now our taxes built the building and now I have to pay 20 bucks to watch monks throw sand on the floor of the building, Hell I think they should pay us for dirtying our museum floor. J
Oh well 20 bucks is better than 60 or 80 dollars for a mime show but I won't be doing either. I will be doing what the world wants me to do and that is stay at home and out of the sight of healthy people. No money, no fun….
Peace Out
